Four Children Struck By Vehicles in 24 Hours in Elad

An 8-year-old girl was was struck by a vehicle in Elad on Tuesday afternoon, a fourth such occurrence in just a 24-hour period. This child was struck in the city center.

MDA responded to the incident on Even Givrol Street in the center of the city. The little girl sustained a head injury and she was transported to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah by paramedics.

On Monday, a 3.5-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle on Yochanan Ben-Zakai Street as she headed to kindergarten and she too was taken to Beilinson. Later on, there was another call on Chafetz Chaim Street involving an 8-year-old girl who was struck by a car as she was heading home from school, also sustaining a head injury. And after that, an 11-year-old was struck and moderately injured in the same type of accident R”L.
