Brooklyn Drive-By Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 4 Injured

Police in Brooklyn are searching for the gunman who opened fire from his car, killing one young man and injuring four others.

The shooting happened just before midnight Wednesday. in front of 333 Bristol Street in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.

Several people were outside the above address when a dark blue SUV with two people inside pulled up and one began firing.

There were a dozen shell casings on the ground spanning from one side of the block to the other.

Five men in all were shot, ranging in age between 18-21.

EMS responded to the location and transported the following: An 18-year-old male, shot in the stomach, was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A 21-year-old male, shot in the leg, hip and hand, was transported to Kings County Hospital, in stable condition. A 21-year-old male, shot in the head, was transported to Brookdale Hospital, in critical condition. A 20-year-old male, shot in the foot and shoulder, was transported to Brookdale Hospital, in stable condition. A 21-year-old male, shot in the hip and grazed in the eye, was transported to Kings County Hospital, in stable condition.
